Good tank mates for Jewels

After finding out that Jewels aren't Rift Lake cichlids I am uncertain about tank mates. I have read they are aggresive one place, aren't aggresive another place, and don't need the same high PH that the Lake fish do, so I am at a loss.

I currently have 6 Jewels that reside in my 145T and would like to get more fish to liven it up.

Jewels should do well with most less aggressive Mbuna, Haplochromines, and some peacock cichlids. They are known to be a more aggressive cichlid, especially during spawning. The Jewels, though not a Rift lake cichlid, are an African variety, originating from the rivers of western africa.

Take pride in what you do, for it is a reflection of who you are.
