my blood parrot doesn't eat his cichlid pellets so i gave it some tropical fish flakes. today i learned that my friend feeds his blood parrot goldfishflakes. i tried them and he ate them just fine. my question is, will the goldfish flakes or the tropical flakes enhance the color more and is better for my blood parrot?

which is best?
For blood parrots, both are fine though not for herbivores unless provided them with those once a week. They seem to have chosen food with lesser protein content in it. Give other foods such as live foods a try.

What fish do you have? I doubt it's a wrong food unless you are feeding vegetarians with those a lot enough to create digestive upsets. Just vary food diet.;)
