Flowerhorns and other fish

Hi everyone!
I was wondering if I could have a flowerhorn in the same tank with 3 silverdollars adn on dojo loach. They would be in a 55 gallon lightly planted tank. I really like the Flowerhorn and would like to keep one. Any advise is greatly appreciated!

Definite no. Tank is too narrow for a full grown flowerhorn. These guys need a bare minimum 75 gallon tank. These guys can get every bit of 14". Can you imagine a 14" fish trying to turn around in a12" wide 55 gallon? In addition to that absolutely no tankmates unless it is a 6ft tank. These guys are extremely aggressive and will kill even the silver dollars in a small tank. Plus silver dollars really should be kept in schools of 4-6. As for the loach it would simply become lunch. These guys also dig like crazy and would tear up plants. Again I wouldn't keep them with plants unless the tank is at least 6ft and even then it probably won't work.

They are worth the wait. They have a 13in flowerhorn at my lfs and he has so much personality

Yea every flowerhorn tank I've ever seen the gravel has always been stacked in one side of the tank or the middle, so plants would probably not work unless its only floating.
