The black one I mentioned looks like he may have been a Frontosa with a very defined nose. Silver one wasn't an arowana--wrong shape. It's the same basic shape of a Redfin Prochilodus but pointy-er in the nose, flatter in the underline, and bright silver, big scales all over. No other colors. And bigger. If that guy was only a foot, I have no spatial sense *lol* I don't even know where to look for him.
What if thats the shape what about a tinfoil barb possibly? They can get over a foot long.

I am 99.9% sure the orange ones are indeed Red Zebra (Metriaclima estherae)

Without a picture of the silver one it is nearly impossible to guess. I have seen Red Zebra once in a tank with Rhamphochromis macrophthalmus (Lake Malawi Pike Cichlid) but it takes someone who really knows about cichlids to do that.
