feel free to use it whenever the occasion calls

water change tomorrow, hope it goes ok.
fish are such amazing things, how on earth do they hold off from not scoffing them babies

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.

There you go again....scoffing?? All these terms I've never heard of before today!
I'm off to scoff a pizza! If they are out of pepperoni I'll be browned.
(Is that the correct usage of these words?? )

I'm always paranoid about sucking up young fry with the gravel vac. I also let myself think that the little guys benefit from lots of junk in the substrate to munch on which gives me another excuse not to thoroughly clean the gravel. So, in other words, I didn't gravel vac at all until they were much bigger and just did water changes by holding the vac high up off the gravel.

i didn't vac at all this week.
mum and dad took them way back in the tank anyway,so no worries
that they would get sucked up.

sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have

that sucks willow :( maybe they were just all runts, and by the time you saw them they were already about to get shipped off to college!? im trying to be positive lol if it helps at all, when i know one of my live bearers in my breeder tank is just about to pop i do a water change and vac RIGHT before. its really helped improve my odds of survival for the fry! :)
