I have recently acquired a fairly rare African cichlid called the False Mopozo Lion Head Cichlid. They are from the Congo River, not the Rift Valley lakes. From what I understand they are similar in temperament to South American dwarf cichlids. Now I have a 75 gallon tank and do niche systems. Everything in my tank is from the Congo River. I have never done cichlids of any sort before and was wondering has anybody had any experience with this type of cichlid? Also, a pair has formed, and I have two females left that are constantly chased and harassed by the male. He isn't hurting them, but their life in the tank is not a vacation. Should I remove the other two females? Any information on these fish would be helpful.
