I was wondering why my RT (Red Turqoise aka Red Turq) was darkening up and the PB (Pidgeon Blood) was swimming close to it.

I have to figure a way to get the eggs into another tank now.

Yeah, I know. I spotted it when I was cleaning the filter. I can place a sponge on the filter, so the eggs and future fry won't get sucked up in there.

After cleaning the filter, I placed the pre-filter sponges back on both the intakes. Hopefully the parents will still care for the eggs. I don't expect the eggs to survive though. But at least I know I have a mated pair, so I plan to remove the parents and bring them to their own tank.

Even if they don't survive, you have the pleasure of knowing the fish are happy and relaxed anough to mate. :) it is always a very good sign. :D
