Does anyone know anything about the Agassiz's dwarf cichlid?
When I updrade to a bigger tank (38-55 gallons) I was thinking about adding some dwarf cichlids, and I saw these cichlids called Agassiz's dwarf cichlid and I was wondering if anyone could tell me about anything them. Thanks.
General summary, similar to most Apistogramma species. Soft, slightly acidic water (crucial for wild fish), best in a pair or preferably a harem. Low light, quiet water, plants, bogwood, leaf litter. Not with other cichlids. Peaceful characins and small catfish are good companions (no catfish if spawning is intended).

Something we all need to remember: The fish you've acquired was quite happy not being owned by you, minding its own business. If you’re going to take it under your wing then you’re responsible for it. Every aspect of its life is under your control, from water quality and temperature to swimming space. [Nathan Hill in PFK]
