Yes, I used Furan 2. I prefer it over the Maracyn/Maracyn 2 combo as I've just seemed to have better results the few times I've used it. Also, the Furan 2 didn't mess with my biofilter whereas the Maracyn combo really did a number on it.

Do you know what happened..looks like he ran into something really hard. Looks so painful. Hope he heals well. Keep us posted..

BTW..just so you know I wasn't one of those 7 people :)

Don't worry, I know exactly who those 7 people are! LOL.

He was being chased by another Discus and he swam very quickly in between the tank wall and a piece of Malaysian dirftwood. In retrospect it was my fault as I should have not had it placed so close to the tank's wall. It has since been moved much farther away. Discus do enjoy chasing and bickering with each other so I should never aquascaped the tank in the manner in which I did. Live and learn.

Thanks for your interest! I've been doing w/c every other day (90%) and today when I do the w/c I will take another pic and post. He's doing much better than I had hoped for and I'm starting to think he will not lose the sight in that eye. I was convinced at one point he would not only lose his sight but the entire eye itself. I'm amazed. Now, if I could only get him to eat! He hasn't lost any girth so I'm not worried about his lack of appetite just yet.

Looking at the last picture, I don't think he'll lose his sight either. Just rememeber what Ron said. He can go for a month or more without food and be okay. As long as he is healing and acting fairly normal, try not to stress about it.

You're right and as of a few days ago I started not to stress at all! I know he's going to be just fine.
I talked to Ron again yesterday and he said this fish could go a couple of MONTHS without eating.
