Beefhearts are a nice addition to their diet. Discus can be very picky with their foods and most starved themselves for weeks. Do you have them already?
The markets. I don't think your pet stores would hold those foods and neither do mine hold them. I would suggest you buy from a reputable dealer or breeder, not your pet chain stores unless you are sure they are in excellent health conditions. Use Metronidazole to deworm your discus every month. Beefhearts have the potential of carrying intestinal flagellates which can harm your discus.
a bit of a side note. discus can get constipated (i know kind of funny to watch your fish' bowels) if they get alot of protein so it's a good idea to feed them some peas or a food rich in spirulina, i use hikari cichlid excel for that. if you get any other fish to go with them be sure to quarantine them for a bit first. There was someone that lives around here that got some discus from a pet store, put them in with his other discus and only like 1 of the new ones survived out of all the discus in the tank. It was bad, discus just catch desease easily so you have to be careful. All the best.
You can get frozen beef heart, blood worms, etc at your local fish store.
