my vote is to go get one then. :)

are you setup to take them on yet or is this wishful thinking for the future?

Animal testing is a terrible idea; they get all nervous and give the wrong answers.

good luck with the search. have you tried aquabid or other online stores?

also, there are discus keepers here that might be able to help you scout out some good breeders in your area.

So I have African Cichlids but I'm looking for more exotic Cichlid like discus. Where do I start? Do they require special care or are they like angelfish (which I have kept)?

This would really be a very reputable business to breed them. I'm sure special attention is needed here too.

Could someone enlighten me on Discus?

I keep a tank of Discus and I love them. As long as you purchase very healthy individuals (which can be a little tricky and is the biggest single factor as far as success with these fish, IMHO) and provide them with what they need I don't find that they are any more or less difficult than my other fish. If you click on the word Discus that is highlighted it will take you to our profile for this fish.

If you don't stand up for something you'll fall for anything...

If your fish listed under your aquariums are all still in 15 gal tank, then I would suggest larger tank before considering more Discus.

The most important medication in your fish medicine cabinet is.. Clean water.
