Hi everyone,

I've decided to set up another tank, and this time I'm going to go the Malawi way :). I've already purchased two baby Cyrtocara moorii aka Malawi Blue Dolphin and stuck them in my 150. I've been keeping a close eye on them and all seems to be going great. They stick to their own food and seem happy. My intention is to have the new tank set up and cycled by mid January. So I have two months for these little guys to grow. Now my question is what is the minimum comfortable tank size I can go. I'm looking for a simple design; a few nooks made of rock maybe a plant or two with gravel.. I'd like to keep 3-5 "Blue Dolphins" in total and 3-5 copadichromis borleyi aka Red Kadango. I might add one more species if I can find a yellow colored cichlid that's smaller and also lives in the open waters of Malawi. So now that I've rambled on and explained teh set up my question is......... What is the smallest tank that could accomidate this setup?; and not bare minimum either I like my fish to be rather comfortable. I saw a realllllllllly nice 55g but it seems small for the fish I want. What do you Ladies & Gents think????
