anyways to OP they eat all kinds of stuff try a slice of cucumber on a clip theyll eat it up once they figure out what it is, heck you might even be able to hand feed your oscars after clip feeding them cucumber a few times. :D

i like the way money says it when they get to big i will upgrade i wanna jump from 60gal to 400gal and these guys are still kinda little and my tank is always amazingly clean

they eat more than just cichlid specified food in the wild. grapes/fruits/vegitables/meats is not gonna hurt them.

I feed my cichlids all sorts of things. When I had my angel I fed her mealworms, earthworms, and other assorted nightcrawlers. I feed my mbunas pees and cucumbers rarely too. there are a ton of things you can feed your fish. You just have to find what they like.
