haha your kicking a dead horse here bud, have you not ever thought that he might upgrade when the fish need it?
anyways to OP they eat all kinds of stuff try a slice of cucumber on a clip theyll eat it up once they figure out what it is, heck you might even be able to hand feed your oscars after clip feeding them cucumber a few times.
i like the way money says it when they get to big i will upgrade i wanna jump from 60gal to 400gal and these guys are still kinda little and my tank is always amazingly clean
I feed my cichlids all sorts of things. When I had my angel I fed her mealworms, earthworms, and other assorted nightcrawlers. I feed my mbunas pees and cucumbers rarely too. there are a ton of things you can feed your fish. You just have to find what they like.
