Do anyone know this answer? Myconvicts layed eggs and were eaten pronto by my bloodparrots, I put them in another tank, does anyone know when they will have more? They only had about nine eggs. Darn bloodparrots.:-(
being convicts, if they are in anything larger than 20 gallons they should breed every few weeks if the water parameters are good and the fish are healthy....Give them some type of cave to use for laying the eggs...Convicts usually breed like rabbits
A good person to ask would be bhone20. He has a breeding pair of convicts that lays eggs on a regular basis. In fact, they breed so often he uses the fry as feeders for his oscars.
