Question Compatibility??

Hey guys I currently have a 20L but was recently gifted for my bday a 75g tank. I have about 15 fish now with live plants that will be getting transferred over the to 75 once I have it running and cycled. My question is are there any Cichlids that are good community fish? I am hoping there are because Cichlids are pretty much the closest thing to salt water fish's color and look.

Thanks for the help!

What are your water parameters and what species are the 15 fish you have currently? There are a number of different cichlids that would work in a community tank but alot depends upon your water's ph and hardness, or lack thereof.

Sorry forgot to mention my fish since it's in my aquarium tab. I have no clue what my ph, hardiness or any chemical balance of my water is. It is well water so it will change during the year, that is all I can tell you for that. My fish are, gold algae eater(the most aggressive of all my fish), red tailed shark, sunburst and mickey mouse platy, rasboras, lemon tetras, and one lonely tiger barb(his buddies passed away)

I very strongly recommend you read iamntbatman's article on stocking and compatibility for a successful aquarium, it is stickied at the head of the Freshwater Fish section, here's a direct link:

Water parameters are one key to success with a community aquarium; your lfs will likely do water tests or you should get a test kit at least for pH and nitrates.
