Pitbulls are..... well, they are dogs.
Cichlids are territorial (especially during mating), amusing, pugnacious, arduous landscapers, full of personality, many are very colorful, have a diverse group of eco-systems, and they don't poop in the yard.
Pitbulls......? They have none of the attributes listed above..... and they poop in the yard.
I don't see anything that would excite me to make the comparison between the two.
You can teach a fish to do some tricks, like eat from your hand. Let's see you teach a pitbull to breathe underwater.
If one would like to compare a pitbull with a fish, compare it with something like a tiger fish, or arowanna, or maybe a gray shark. But, a cichlid? The cichlid will win the comparison battle every time.
