Oh no, dont fret about it...He was 8 years old, a respetable age for a African cichlid.........all my africans are slowing dying of old age..........My yello lab and a few others are still swimming, but i think their days are numbered......Here is some other africans thay have passed on in the last year and a half........

Thank You Amphitrite.............Means alot.....My africans were easy to shoot, they would come out and pose for the camera it seemed........guess i should enter the photo contest

If its possible... I know it would help me to identify the fish better if everyone would
list the name of the fish along with the picture...
I am some what new to Cichlids.. and would like to know the names of these wonderful
looking fish...
AWSOME PICS... you really should enter the Contest FOR SURE....

Great pics fishin pole!!!!!!!!! Teammuir1 the fish in the first pic is a yellow lab, second pic is red zebras, third pic of mine im not a hundred percnt sure what the are there 3/4 inch still small. fourth pic yellow lab 1 inch.

the blue ones i have in my post are electric blue johannis and the yellow ones are yellow labs.

Question the spots on the anal fin are called egg spots which only males have correct?
