It is a not a Placidochromis Milomo, they all have black strips from birth.

Given that there are almost no cichlids with green coloration like that, my honest opinion is that it is a hybrid of some sort, it has the dorsal fin of a peacock.

There is a slight chance that it could be a Aulonocara hansbaenschi as they have been known to go green before turning the bright yellow color, although this is rare and I dont like the body shape for that conclusion.

Would be interested to see how it develops, could be an awesome fish if it keeps that color.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Sorry Tazman but I have to disagree. The milomo(super V10) are NOT always hatched with stripes. And the local breeder here that provides them regularly for my fish store often has juvies that appear to have just spots like this when young.
As for the stripe. Personally I think it's yellow . I'm sure with certain lighting yellow can appear green .
