Changing current setup to discus

I have a 450 litre tank. Right now it is fully planted with the following plants

VALLISNERIA SPIRALIS
ECHINODORUS BLEHERI
ROTALA INDICA
NYMPHEA MACULATA
CRYPTOCORYNE BECKETTII
CRYPTOCORYNE WENDTII TROPICA
CRYPTOCORYNE UNDULATA
CRYPTOCORYNE LUCENS
ECHINODORUS TENELLUS

As fish I have 7 Angel Fish, few red nose tetra, couple of clown loaches, corydoras and a SAE.

Now for lightning I will lower this to 6 hours a day (216W T5's with reflectors)

I want to change this setup to a discus tank. What fish should I remove and why? What about plants since I am going to reduce the time of lights on. About the heating I will raise it to 28C.

Can someone give me some tips?

Red nose tetras? As in rummy nose? If so, they're fine with discus. You may need to remove your angels to allow the discus to establish themselves. The rest are fine although on occasions, the clown loaches may annoy your discus but no lasting harm done.

What species are your cories?

Your swords and rotala I think won't do well with low lights. Vals possibly borderline. Crypts are absolutely fine.

Curious, how many hours a day do you currently keep the lights on? What is your line of thought as far as reducing light to just six hours a day? Were it me (and it's not!) if I were going to keep discus I would rehome the angelfish. IMHO discus and angelfish don't mix. You'll be fine with all the other fish you have in the tank with discus. I also keep clowns and a solo SAE (along with a shoal of cardinals) with my discus, no problems.
