Bumble Bee Cichlid Mating?

I recently got a new Bumblebee and he/she is turning black a lot. It sort of lays down on the sand and swims in a circle with my other bumblebee. He/she seems healthy. But I never had a fish lay down like that. Are they spawning?

Yes what you have is a male bumblebee hitting maturity. These are one of the most aggressive mbunas so I would get more females if you can. They also get very large so I wouldn't keep them in anything less than a 75.
