Tank would in my view be minimum for a breeding pair of these fish,or temporary housing for a small group(If you are housing them for sale?) so long as water is hard ,alkaline, and plenty of clay pot's or rock formations to create caves.
A breeding pair will quickly eliminate tankmates, even those much larger than the Brichardi.
I have kept these fishes on several occasion's and they do not bother other fishes much EXCEPT, when breeding and fry are present.
One male or one female could be kept with fast moving barb's,swordtail's,some of the rainbow species but all bet's are offf if kept as pair and fry are present.
Nannacara,or rainbow cichlid's would fair better in groups and stay small, these might interest you for 120 L tank and do a little better in wider range of water parameter's.
If breeding these fish is your aim,, I would select five or six juveniles and when a pair formed ( 2 to 4 mo old), I would remove the other's, lest they be quickly dispatched when fry from the pair appear.
Would see that I had a place to accept the fry or you could soon wind up hip deep in them.
Hope some of this help's.
