bought 2 female GBR's today!

Well, I did get 2 females for my one male. This time, all is working out great. Both seem to be liked by him, one more than the other, and it was pretty clear which one he has "chosen" within 45 minutes.

I'm happy he's not harrassing the other, so she can stay. So, now I have 3 GBR's and I'm happy with them. What will happen if they spawn, to the left out female . . .I don't know? Does anyone have experience with this? I hope they can all co-exist together.

How big is your tank? In a 55g+ the odd female will likely be forced to the other side of the tank, smaller then that and it will probably be killed. Thats my understanding anyways.

It's 30 gal. Yikes. That is a possibility. I can return her to the LFS if that starts. I won't get money back for her, but I don't want her to die.

I'm keeping an eye on things.

I'm glad you were able to get a female for him. That is a gorgeous male, hopefully they spawn for you.
