There is no individual species that differs in size when compared to other species. All scalare angels can actually reach more than 5 inches. 6-8 inches often the maximum.

Not mutations. Various species are selectively bred to produce actual results depending on the dominant and recessive genes.:) Don't ask me about genes. I had to clarify further but I lack the knowledge to specify which genes are dominant and recessive.:)
