The problem is that I am seeing a bunch of mixed tank suggestions for them on the internet, one site said 30g+ for two, this site says 20g+ and my petsmart said 10g+, so which is true? |
I've seen the rams that Petsmart are carrying, and they are very stressed, so you will have a harder time determining males and females, plus ideally you want to try to find a bonded pair. Try observing them in the tank, and see if you can find two paired off, but it will not be likely at Petsmart. They need low ph, just so you know. They will not do well in hard water of any kind. They also do better with plants, and floating plants are very good for them.
