Blood Parrot Laid Eggs!!!

Ive never had a fish lay eggs before and my parrot just laid them on a rock. She has become extremely protective and watches over the eggs. I know that they generally cant reproduce, but i want to try at least. Does it have to be another male parrot, or can any fish fertilize the eggs? If another male is needed, ho wdo i tell a male from female at the pet store?

That is so cool that your fish had little ones. As far as I know you need a male to fertilize the eggs

That is so cool that your fish layed eggs. You do need a male in the aquarium to help with mother nature.

Damn, how do i know how to pick a male blood parrot? What about other chichlids, can they fertilize the eggs, or does it have to be a blood parrot
