I have a new tank everything seems to be going well, thank God,. I have two Silver red tail Barbs, One Bala Shark, One Ruby Red Barb, and two Black Convicts. My quewstion is how can you tell if my Convicts are Male or female???
very simple! If they are mature. the female will almost always have red/orange on her blly and lower sides, with color on her fins gills top fins bottom fins. shine a light on them to see if there is any color.Males will have a hump on their head, usually no color, longer strings from the upper and lower fins, and almost always bigger and bulkier looking. Do you have pics?
