Question Big enough for Crickets?

Hey guys just wanted your opinion if my Oscars are big enough for crickets yet there about 3 1/2 inches in length, and if so how big can the cricket be?

They will be probably be ok now if you feed it live crickets as a treat only and not a staple diet.

They naturally in the wild would hunt them so I do not see why they cannot have them now.

With regards to size, smaller probably until it matures a bit more.

Be Careful feeding them live crickets though - heard a ton of stories of people having one escape and it being extremely hard and annoying to catch in the house once released.

10g Fry / Hospital / QT tank (as needed)

75g Saltwater Reef, Ocellaris Clownfish, Lyretail Antias (baby), Lemon damsel, Longtail Fairy Wrasse, purple dottyback, snails, crabs and a few LPS corals.

220g Still sitting empty (come on Lottery I need the numbers to come up!)

Probably one per fish if you have more than one oscar.

Excellent news...dont feed them too many though...more of a treat for them.

Once a week or at least every 3 days perhaps.

just thought i would jump in on the subject of escaping crickets.
beware if they get out, they will live very happily in your house, and the chirping
depending on your nerves can be horrid.
i feed crickets to the tree frogs and toads, which thankfully are in a exoterra cage,so they don't get out,
but i have had escaped ones occasionally, and they are very hard to cash, unless like me
you find it in your bed
it may be a good idea for you to squash their heads so they don't swim off and climb up a wire
and get out.

when you set up a new tank, hide an extra
sponge or two behind some decor, that way you have
something seeded for you next filter.
