I got them in around 1pm and they've been drip acclimating since then. They were sitting in REALLY high ammonia. The API test registered it as a blue-green color O.O As of right now, their ammonia is down to .50ppm

They are SA. I don't believe I recall a blue/green on the ammonia portion of the API color chart (perhaps ours are different). Either way, green is not good.

Did they come in this water? If so, where did you get them from? Curious to know if you ordered them from an online shop.

It's impossible to tell they are Angels from above. They just look like minnows or something. lol.
I sure hope that now that you have teased us with a bubbling water bucket of water that there is another video to come tonight!!
One showing the new babies in their new home?? I for one can't wait to see them.

Oh yeah, you'll get actual pictures of them in their tank xD
They're just dime size babies! No, I do not believe blue-green is on the chart. I'm quite certain it is higher than 8ppm since I watched the greens get darker and darker and finally get a blue hue to it.

The water that tested so high is, in fact, the water they arrived with. I order these guys from a breeder on AquaBid. I informed him of the updates and he thoroughly appreciates me testing the water they came in. He never knew the water ended up being that high in ammonia. He usually does weekly water changes at home and fasts them for 24 hours before shipping. He said he'll try out fasting them for 48 hours before shipping.

I'm sure they'll be released in their new tank in 30-ish mins?

Maybe shippers should ship with some Prime in the water to help neutralize Ammonia. I wonder if that would work.

I totally forgot to ask him if he doses with prime in their shipping water. I always forget Prime detoxifies ammonia, these days I naturally use it as a conditioner.

No :(
I don't know why but the last pieces of ammonia seem to take too long to remove :P
They're sitting at .25 or less ppm. I hope they'll finish soon, I gotta go to bed soon!

I've got pictures!!!!
There's a video of the releasing, it is currently uploading to youtube. I don't think you'll be able to see them too well in the video xD They're so tiny!!! They're so tiny that one of the shrimp tried to see if they were edible!!! Last thing I ever thought would happen! And here I was warning the shrimp that the angels may chase and nip at them! LOL

It's lights out for these babies. Bedtime for me anyway, so it be bedtime for them too ;)
