How big is the tank? What kind(s) of livebearers?

Keep in mind that angels will eat anything that will fit into their mouths... that includes adults as well as fry.

Sooner or later, if the angels survive to adult size they will eat your neons. 5 cm (2" to me) is big enough that Angels won't be able to eat the adults. Livebearers are a good thing to put with angels, since livebearer fry are excellent angelfish food. On the flip side, most livebearers that I know of come from areas that sit on a carbonate bedrock and have pretty hard, alkaline water, whereas angels come from the Amazon Basin and prefer soft, acidic water. Upshot is that you'll be able to keep either you angels or you livebearers perfectly happy and healthy, but not both.

Logic is only the beginning of wisdom
