Angelfish query

Hello i have just bought a 55 gallon aquarium that is currently cycling at the moment. With a bigger fish tank than the ones that i have had in the past i am looking at possible stocking it with angelfish. I have read into a lot of their behavior and standard listed requirements, but i still have a few questions from those with experience.
The question is how many angelfish can i place comfortably within my tank? I am wanting to build around having angelfish so i do not care if its not a community tank. my concern is with them making pairs and the tank is more for show. Also any tips that are helpful is much appreciated as well.

What a pretty tank! I am not sure of the answer to your question, though. I have one angel in my 29g. I have read that odd numbers of angels are better, not sure if that is accurate or not.

So is that a 55 tall? Not the standard 4 ft long. Get 6 juvenile angels and let them pair off. You'll probably only be able to keep one pair in there. Paired angels are very territorial. Make sure you have a plan for rehoming the others.

30 inch long X 18 inches width X 25 inch tall

I started with 5 juv, ended up with 2 in one tank and 3 in another(55Gl and 65GL)
When they pair up all hell breaks lose
I do know of cases where 7 are kept in a 100gl, no problem, but were raised together in a planted tank

That tank is actually a 56G I have the same exact tank. With the same exact tree root lol. Great minds think alike lol. I would say the same about 6 angels and then when you get a mated pair you will have to be careful with aggresion. I have one angel and community fish.

yea so far what i am thinking of stocking is 6 corys eventually one bristle nose and 3 to 4 angelfish. do you think that looks good and if so is four or three better?
