Angel babies!!

They are starting their mating ritual! Im finna have me some babies! Got the fry tank all set up. Woohoooo!

Well..... They ate em. Lol. Dang it. I thought i had it all planned out but they were quicker than me. The dangers of a community tank....

Not a total loss. At least you have a pair that has spawned. Is it their first time? I've bred jewelfish and first timers often fail to raise the fry. Builds confidence for next time though. Good luck!

This is probably their 3 or 4 time to spawn. They are in a 75 gallon community so the eggs have been eaten every time. I can see when the female fills up with eggs so i always know when it's getting close but i havent been brave enough to try to move them.

Aussie- i tried the slate but they prefer things like plants and filter intakes lol. I guess if i ever want babies ima hafta set up a true breeder tank and move them.
