So, I have this little 10 gallon hospital tank that I use to house sick or otherwise picked on cichlids (african aggressives) . I only have one little one in there right now (hoping he will grow and get better) but I am afraid I am going to run into an algae problem. Now I could go with a pleco but I don't want it to grow into something that my small tank can't handle.

Any Suggestions? (Snails, and catfish, and medications oh my!)

A hospital tank will not require any more occupants than the patient for hygienic and health reasons.

What is the type of algae that you have a problem with?
