African cichlids no longer eating

well yeah i dont know what ive been doing wrong, maybe waiting too long between water changes, but like every month i would have another cichlid die but my water parameters never reached dangerous levels. i bought them all full grown though so i dont know how old they are. they could be 5-10 yrs old for all i know. so right now i'm down to 2 cichlids, a gibbicepps pleco, and a spotted raphael cat. i figured before the cichlids died, i could trade them in for a group of little ones and let the pet store deal with them.
