Ok well i have a 55 gallon tank and i have 6 african chiclids. But i bought them out an assorted tank. On the lable the bigest they get is 6 to 10 inches. Do you think i could hold a couple more or im all set . And if i can do you think i could get a couple of different species i know thats probably a no.
Im not a expert at all, but from the other thread that let you know if how stocked your tank is. I have 4 cichlids and it says that I am right at 100% once grown
Let start with pics. Then we could tell you how big they get. I have over 15 fish cichlids included in a 75. And over 30 in a 125. So let go here as long as you can fit them in with a well cleaning schedule. And if they only get to 5 to 6 inch like a lot of mixed cichlids they sell at the lfs's. You should be able to keep 10 of them in your 55. Now i would not recomend this for the beginer tho. You would also have to take in acount for the aggresion that a lot of africans have. That is My opinion.
