Oscars! I personally love them. The fish has loads of personality and not to mention, they're beautiful.

If I had a tank that big, I would be using it for my mixed community and adding a few more fish, then using the tank my mixed community is going in for a single Oscar and Pleco. I wish mum would let me get that large of a tank.

if you put your oscar in the 125, you could put a dempsey in there with it. i've got one in with my oscars and they do great together. i don't know about the convict though, i think they require different water parameters than oscars, higher ph and harder water.

I dont think it would be too much of an issue with a convict. I've seen them kept together before. I'm not an expert, though.
