i looked up green fire tetra online and they look nothing like this fish. he is not green and has no red on him like they do. the main markings are the black and white at the base of the tail.
I've looked into this link but none seems to match the features of your fish.:? It's very difficult to find a completely updated list of tetras around the net. http://www.jjphoto.dk/fish_archive/tetr2.htm
that is the trouble with common names, they can be applied to many different fish.
the dawn tetra I know is Hyphessobrycon eos but maybe that is because Eos was the Greek god of and the personification of the dawn
