what kind of fish is this

I just got this fish the other day. it came in with a shipment of brilliant rasboras that the store got. so they aren't sure what it is either.

i looked up green fire tetra online and they look nothing like this fish. he is not green and has no red on him like they do. the main markings are the black and white at the base of the tail.

I've looked into this link but none seems to match the features of your fish. It's very difficult to find a completely updated list of tetras around the net.

looks like a tailspot tetra Aphyocharax paraguayensis to me

They seemed to be marked dawn tetra when i googled it.
