Too soon to add?

I put 4 neon tetra in my 10 gal about a week ago and i will be picking up the plants that i ordered at my LFS tomorrow and i was wondering if it was too soon to add more fish namely 6 glo-light tetras i would add 2 more neons but i cleaned him out of the last 4 he had last week and he wont be getting a new shipment till friday

If your aquarium has cycled and the ammonia and nitrite remained zero after adding the Neons, then yes you can add more fish.

If the Neons were your first fish and your tank is not yet cycled, then shame on you. And no, in this case, you can't add more fish yet.

yes my tank is cycled i took alot of stuff from a bigger tank and placed it in this tank to get the bacteria going

and my ammonia is near zero(color scale not that great on my test kit)

I'd wait until he gets in more neons and add in at least two more.

i stopped by a little while ago while doing a couple other things and the place he orders his plants was still closed yesterday so he will be picking them up tomorrow morning and i also noticed that he had a bag of neons getting acclimated to his tanks so ill be able to pick up 2 more tomorrow
