Exclamation Tetra got it's head stuck!!

I was just wondering if there was anything I needed to do!! My fish got it's head stuck in one of the plastic plants (it's been in there nearly a month now... I don't know what it was doing). I took the plant out, as I don't want to cause any further damage to it...

I can only imagine that it was stuck in there for at least 4 or 5 hours, based on the last time I got track of all the fish in there.

Will he be okay? That white mark, AFAIK, wasn't there before...

It looks like some of his scales are missing. If that's all, I wouldn't worry about it. But if it's an actual wound, you might want to isolate him in a hospital tank and treat it with Melafix.

Either way, keep the water super clean and keep a close eye on it. You don't want a bacterial infection as a result.
