The "chasing" is actually very threatening, the fish were under considerable stress which may well have contributed to their demise. You're just luck they didn't turn on the other fish as they frequently will in such situations.
In spite of being quite attractive and always (it seems) available, they are really not good community fish.
That is why I am not buying anymore. Thank You
