Plant eating is apparently one of their flaws. Wisteria seems to be a favorite of my fish also. Other than having only plants that they won't eat, maybe try some of the blanched greens like lettuce, spinach, cucumber. Needs to be something they like and is easier to eat than the plants. Good luck.

It'll take some observation. If the veggies start looking like they're degrading and the fish aren't paying attention to them, switch them out. It might take the fish a while to trust them. You might also need to try different locations in the tank. Plan on it taking a week or so to see what's going on. Sorry but, that's the best I can suggest. So much of this is trial and error. More often than not, we have to compromise when it comes to mixing fish and plants.

Not sure if it would work, but have you considered duckweed. Add it to the tank before feeding and see if it makes a difference. You might need to cultivate in a bucket until you have a decent supply but it may save the hassle of putting veggies in every other day.

Just an idea

Good luck
