Something wrong with my glowlight tetras.

So I noticed my glowlights seemed to have something wrong with them. It almost looks like they are scarred or something, and the scarring almost looks like ick. I caught 2 in my net to take them out, and it seemed to fall off. But then it just collects on them again. Does anybody know what the problem is?

This is not nearly enough information to answer your question. Post again. Provide details. Don't hesitate to be long winded. Pictures would be great.
