I'm getting rid of the Neons and going with Gus, some shrimp, 4 or 5 Cory Cats, and 2 mystery snails. I don't know that getting more Neons will fix the problem and even if they quit picking on Gus, they would still kill my shrimp. It's not a question of rather or not I'm getting rid of them, but how to do it. They can be given away to the woman I mentioned or isolated for 3 weeks and given back to the pet store when I can drive up there.

the pet store does seem like a better idea than all the rest hope you get happy results from this point on

I ended up getting very lucky and running into a woman in WalMart who is a fishkeeper too! We started talking and she told me she was doing a species tank for her grandaughter and was going to get her a bunch of Neons! I told her I had 3 to rehome and she gladly took them. They are all fishkeepers, so the little ones will have a good home

that is amazing no waiting in a store with worrying about travel sickness or at the store without being cared for (I know this because a petstore some years ago was shut down for that reason)
