Cool Neon Tetra Combat

I have 3 neon tetras are fighting constantly! one has alot of damage on his dorsal fin. I also noticed that all 3 neon tetras have what looks like zits on there mouths. Its really hard to get a pic since they are camera shy. Is this normal behavior? I also have 2 dwarf platys, 2 ghost shrimps and multiple malaysian trumpet snails in the tank. Im getting ready to get anohter dwarf platy

Ive had the neon tetras for at least 4 months

One of my neons will occasionally get a burr under its saddle and decide he needs to go bully the others for a bit. One of mine has some rather severe damage to its fins from this.

most mid/top swimming fish i see that are community worthy/schooling type all get a little semi-aggressive with their own or like kind when kept in small groups. a little on the territorial side. its a pecking order they establish as they mature. they never fight to the death though.

Im pretty sure you should have more then three neon tetras.. 6-8 would be good and should minimize fighting. How big of a tank are they in?

I would get a few more neon tetras. That should solve your problem.
