Bob, it isn't a red-eye tetra. The appearance looks totally different. I've never seen a Hemigrammus ocellifer with a black spot in the middle of the flank.:? Any close-up pics, Mirta?
I agree, it looks like that Hemigrammus ocellifer and beacon fish is its other name. I do not see them in our shops around here. We got it by chance, together with black neons. Those two stick together, however, and do not consider neons their family.
