So I just got some Lemon Tetras the other day, and it ended up being 3 males and one female (not ideal, I know) but today, the three males are relentlessly chasing the female, and I mean relentlessly. What can I do to change this?
It would be easier to trade the female for a male, as there's always more males, then it would just be territorial fights, but the males pretty much ignore each other just to chase her.
Any advice would be awesome.

Uwahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Look at all this black magic as I bring my own thread back to a semblance of life.
I just wanted to update this in case anyone in internetland ever has a similar issue and wants to know how I worked mine out.

I have discovered lemons... are jerks. That's about it. They are jerks.
The three males ended up chasing the one female to death. I separated first the dominant male, then later put him back and took out the submissive. Nothing changed, one still chased the other.
I bought 5 more, bringing my totals to 8. one was female. Now I had males chasing each other and all 7 chasing the one female. I took her out. Then I traded her for a male.
And now, everyone gets along swimmingly.
They might chase each other for an hour in the morning but there is no intra- and interspecies issues now.
