Fish recommendations

I will there was many possible factors why the first stock went down; so I figured I'll let the 45g be for a few months with the Emporers, Rummy, Cory and sometime this summer will try again (froma different store as well lol)

I know I love them too! The red heads and the stripe tails are quite a sight. I can't fit any more fish in my tank though Time to start plotting where the next tank will go....muahahahaha!!!!

LOL I hear ya...as we picked up the 30g the other night hubby goes "So now you got all sizes you wanted - we're done shopping right?" meanwhile I try to NOT lie and not choke on my fries - Thankfully one these flashy Mustangs like he has came right by and I went "DID you see THAT Mustang there I wonder what engine he has"...so I nicely diverted right off that subject real quick before I had to answer that question honestly LOL

LOL, nice deflection! Pete would definitely be open to me getting another. He wanted me to get that 135g and move the 55g upstairs. I don't want a tank upstairs though because we wouldn't enjoy it like we should. I can easily fit a 30g or a tall tank in the basement with the 55g though Uh oh!

Hubby is fine by my addiction and enjoys the fish....but to be honest he has a point to question when enough tanks are enough LOL .... at least until I get my fish room *fat grin*

Pete is the same way. I accept his beer brewing, he accepts my fish keeping. He actually encourages it. Last night I woke him up (in my defense he passed out on the sofa at 9:30pm and the tank light stays on til 10:00pm...had to wake him) to come check out the Bleeding Heart Tetras. Obviously when I put them in yesterday they were scared and getting used to the tank, but last night they were all over the place and schooling back and forth like crazy. It was so awesome to see. The Cardinal's school too, but not as tightly as these guys. He really liked it too but commented on the cories and how active they were on the bottom

I rehome fish all the time on craigslist and include food with them or live plants as a pkg. deal. I have never had any problems rehoming them. I do this as I see new fish that I really want in my 55 gal. and don't want to overcrowd the tank so I rehome the ones I could part with. I just like having 2 different schools of tetras instead of 3 groups. I rehomed some Gold dust mollies so that I could raise these new Bumblebee Platies now a new strain and hard to find.

Ok so now I'm back to square one. After about 2 weeks, the Bleeding Heart Tetras I got to replace the Black Skirts started fin nipping the Angels. I'm not having any luck. I will now be replacing them.
Considering:
Rummynose tetras. Although I already have Cardinals and would really like to get something with a different shape, I know they won't fin nip.
Bolivian Ram. Now that I am 7 less tetras, I'm thinking 2 bolivian rams. I've been wanting them but was waiting until I upgraded because with the Bleeding Hearts I was fully stocked.

Any other suggestions, please siggest.
