Does anyone have long fin black blushing tetras?

Hello everyone.
I'm a new user to this site. My 55g is heavily planted and houses 12 red eye tetras, 2 guppies and 3 chinese algea eaters. I was hoping some one could enlighten me on our newtank addition. The wife and I were out at our LPS today, and we picked up 6 long fin black blushing tetras. I usually have no problem finding my new fish on various aquaria websites, but this variation doesn't seem to be that popular.
Any info would be greatly apprieciated.

Ken

Hi Ken and welcome to the forum!

I'm not familiar with any fish by that exact name. From the name though, I would guess the new additions are longfin blushing tetras which are a morph of black skirt tetras. That's my guess at least. Do you have any pictures of them? That might help.

I think your right in your idea that they're probably morfs BWG. I've had black skirts in the past and they carry similar markings. My daughter tried to take a picture, but they're still in nervous mode. I'll try my best to describe them.
They have a white head and forbody with the characteristic black stripes and upturned mouth of the black skirts. The back half is black with the typical long fins of the black skirt. The unique markings of this fish are it's blushing cheeks, and lateral red line down the sides and it's pale white tail. A very beautiful fish and that's pobably why the wife picked it out.
