Do you have the fish you posted a pic of in post #1?

I have never heard of glass bloodfins. LFS often make up names for fish, which confuses people.

No bloodfin tetra do a search in fish profiles it's Aphyocharax anisitsi. There are two that look silimar but are different, much like the Ghost Catfish and Glass Catfish. There is the Colombian Tetra (Blueflame or BlueRed tetra)has more blue and red on body. The Bloodfin tetra has a more silver body with red fins.

Bloodfin don't grow as big, but they have silimar personalities very active and aggressive feeding.

There's the Glass Bloodfin and just the Bloodfin the Glass one is transparent like the Glass Catfish verus the Ghost Catfish. The Glass species don't have scales they are membrane.

I was asking because I didn't understand why you posted a pic of a colombian tetra if that's not the fish you have.

That's not a fish I have see before - I guess there are still a few out there ;) Bloodfins and glass bloodfins are different species - the scientific name for the glass bloodfin is Pronobrama filigera

I did google it and sources I generally trust say they need a larger tank than you have. I'm sure the same is true for your catfish too. I know that's not what you want to hear, but 10 gallons is as small as it gets, which precludes MOST fish. Any schooling fish stocked in a 10 gallon shouldn't be more than an inch long.

I just picked them and din't look at the name then I forgot I had a livestock order sheet, so I tried id'ing them manually. Good thing I found the order sheet I would still think they are Colombian.
