I noticed yesterday that there are little whitish specks all over my bleeding heart tetra.
I've dosed the tank with an ick remedy that contains Merbromine and sodium chloride, but I don't think it really looks like ick. Looks more like someone sprinkled dust all over him.
The tetra died the day after I posted my message. But now my 3 clown loaches seem to be sick with the same thing. They now have the tiny white specks all over them, and are laying around breathing/panting very fast. I've had these fish for almost 10 years, and I've very attached to them.
I've been treating them for 2 days with Kordon Rid Ich Plus, but they don't seem to be improving. I have attached a picture.
Please help! Does anyone have an idea of what they have and how to cure them?
