Has anyone heard of such a fish? The fish looks like a 3" version of the black skirt tetra, with longer flowing fins....the fish is shy, and shoals with the other 2...gets along fine with everyone else in the tetra community tank of 55gal....no camera for pics yet
i think htey're the same as black skirts becuase i have 3 and one fo them after about 2 years started growing longer fins so im guessing tehy're teh same animal with just a genetic variation
They are the same as a regular black skirt tetra; they were just bred to grow long fins, hence the long finned black skirt. I have 3 of them. I like the long fin better just because they look prettier and fuller in the tank.
